Branding for Social Change

For my Design for Social Change class, I spent ten weeks developing an integrated branding campaign for organizations of our choice. I chose to establish an organization and movement focusing on education for girls, loosely based on organizations that are already established.

Girl Power Initiative (GPI) is a movement centered around the empowerment of girls throughout the world, with the main focus on education. At the moment, GPI is focusing on countries within Africa and Asia, as there is the least access to school for girls. GPI’s goal is to empower girls, as this is the best way to strengthen and accelerate positive transformation. The empowerment and education of girls is the key to overcoming barriers to social and economic development, ensuring healthy, stable families, and building productive communities.
